EDUCATION
Training, Learning, and Character
Former Professor and Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, Dr. Terri Lynch-Caris, understands the needs of both faculty and education administrators.
Terri can teach single workshops or can be contractually committed for a longer period to collaborate and assist you in reaching your goals. She has experience with face-to-face, online and hybrid-style teaching.
Terri will work with professors who need organization and improved communication skills. She will coach professors in teaching methodologies and assessment of learning. She will mentor them to success. Universities may save thousands of dollars by retaining employees rather than the expensive and time-consuming task of onboarding a new professor. Having a coach from the outside is effective with trust and confidence in the mentoring relationship.

“The Effective Teacher Training workshop conducted by Dr. Caris was a gamechanger. I learned strategies that I can use immediately to make my teaching more effective, and skills to prepare robust teaching plans. Dr. Caris does not simply lecture but immerses you in the topics to assist in retention and your ability to implement the techniques to make an impact in the classroom.”
